As a small, locally-owned boutique, we feel it's important to mention that we do not issue refunds but do offer store credit in the form of Gift Card for any items that might not work out. For this reason, we welcome our customers to inquire about fit, size, measurements etc. to ensure that the pieces you're interested in are guaranteed to fit before you even hit "Checkout".

RETURNING FOR STORE CREDIT

We hope that everything in your order works out, but we understand that is not always the case. While we do not issue refunds, we offer store credit for any items* in your order that you decide to bring/send back. We’ll gladly exchange unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise with original tags attached.

*Discounted products or products marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for exchange or store credit.

* Online Exchange Policy *

For online orders, kindly send us an email to hello@septembertheshop.com with your order number within 21 days of your order date and we will send you a return shipping label, the cost of which will be deducted from your store credit. Include the original packing slip or order number with your items when you mail your order back. Once your exchange is received, we will apply the cost of your returned item(s) onto a September Gift Card less the shipping label fee and notify you via email of your Gift Card information. Gift Cards do not expire and can be redeemed online and in store. Please note:

  • Exchanges after 21 days cannot be accepted.
  • The original shipping charge is non-refundable, and you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for any item you exchange.
  • To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused, with tags attached and in the same condition that you received it. If we receive an item in unsellable condition, the repair/cleaning fees will be deducted from your store credit.
  • Swimwear: please try on with undergarments. If returning, bottoms must have protective liners intact.
  • If you received a damaged item, shoot us an email at hello@septembertheshop.com and we’ll help.

* In-store Exchange Policy *

For in-store purchases, items must be brought back within 14 days of purchase date. Items are only eligible for exchange or store credit in the form of a September Gift Card. All returns must be unworn, unwashed, and have all tags attached. We do not offer exchanges on sale, swim styles, intimates (including bralettes or bodysuits), or perishable food items.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange your purchase for a different size or color, we recommend purchasing the new item, and then sending us an email to request a return label for your original order, so that your desired item does not sell out. We will then issue a return shipping label to your email address for you to send back the original item. Once we receive the returned order, we will refund the initial purchase, less the shipping cost.

Please note: If you’re in-between sizes, please do not order multiple sizes of the same style, as we do not issue refunds when two sizes are purchased on one order. Please send us an email and we will send you measurements to help you decide which size will be best!

 


SHIPPING INFORMATION

Free ground shipping is available on domestic orders of $175 or more. All U.S. orders are shipped via UPS or USPS within 3-5 business days of your order date. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information for your package. After an order has been delivered to the requested shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. 

Your order is proudly packed using 100% compostable or recyclable materials.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

At this time, we are only shipping to the US and Canada. All international orders are shipped via USPS within 3-5 business days of your order date. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information for your package. You are responsible for any duties and taxes that are required by customs once the package arrives in your country. After an order has been delivered to the requested shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
